$100 store
Ryan got us a Costco membership at the beginning of the year. It was not my choice. I do not like the store. I use it for gas, and that's it. We decided to give it a try last night and see what we could find. Well we found a lot, but honestly the prices aren't that great! Ryan's mom loves it, but then again she has seven kids. She calls it the $100 dollar store because you can't leave without spending at least $100. We only bought 15 things and it was over $100! I can get 3 times that much at any grocery store and pay about half with my super shopping skills and trusty rusty coupons! Besides they don't even bag your items, it closes at 8:30, and you have to get 'checked' before you leave. Ryan threw the receipt away and had to go clear back in the store to get a print, just so we could leave! Honestly! Down with Costco! They did have less expensive milk. I guess I enjoy all the enormous bagged candy. That's the only reason I'd go back. What's your opinion?

I agree with you! The thing about Costco is that everything is name brand... so of course it's expensive! My mom made a list of things that are good to get at Costco... so if we ever go we usually just get a few things like toilet paper, paper towels, milk, cheese and chicken... it's also really good for olive oil. Oh and I must admit it's like candy / snack heaven... I could get fat in that place! haha Truth is Costco is for rich people or people with a big family :)
I love Costco. Granted everything I buy is for the house - like paper towels, TP, and cleaning supplies. I did walk out last week and only spent 85!! Whoo hoo. They do have these really COOL HANDMADE cards. 30 cards for 14.99! It is the best. I buy three or 4 sets a year, (david has 40 people in his immediate family). Everyone loves them too!
Costco rocks when it comes to diaper and formula, and frozen burritos. :)
