Winco

While our husband's were busy at BP Jessica took me to Winco for the first time. I'm really impressed with their prices on produce and their bulk section is great! They have cat food for half the price of other grocery stores. Another cool thing is their peanut butter and honey. You can make your own natural peanut butter by grinding peanuts. Their honey bins has a warning sign about not opening the lid because there are live bees. Jessica got the honey, hope it was good!
I haven't been back since, but plan to soon.

Rachel's reception

Adria and I went to Rachel (Mecham) Ditto's reception a few weeks ago. I haven't seen her since my wedding almost 4 years ago. It was good to see her bridesmaids, Ashton, who's getting married in August, and Mary, both friends from High School as well as her sister and parents. I've been friends with Rachel since Middle School. I used to go over to her house and do Tae-Bo. We danced together at C&C Ballet before we got on Dance Company together. She's such a great person and friend, I'm so glad she was able to get married and that she's so happy. I stole this picture from her facebook page.

Montpelier, ID

The last weekend in May we drove to Montpelier, ID with his brother and friends for a softball tournament. It was freezing and rainy all weekend but look at this beautiful rainbow by Bear Lake!

For the first game Saturday morning Jessica and I stayed and watched from the nice, warm car.

The tournament was kind of ridiculous and they lost sooner than expected. It was a short trip but we had fun! We ate dinner at the only place in town open past 9:00 at a truck stop.

On the way home we stopped to eat at a yummy Chinese Buffet in Northern Utah

Church callings

I got released from teaching Primary a few weeks ago and now I'm on the enrichment committee. I've been in Primary for awhile and must admit I'm glad for the change, although I've subbed for Primary twice since. It's nice to be able to go to Relief Society and get to interact with the adults again. Ryan and I are still ward missionaries and he's teaching Elder's Quorum. Ryan has a new calling coming up, but you'll have to check back next week for that announcement.

FPU

This summer we've been very busy. Between Bee's games, softball games, and school we've also been taking Dave Ramsey's Financial Peace University class once a week. We've learned so much about becoming debt free, budgeting, and saving for retirement, along with a lot of other tips. We even shredded our credit cards and are enjoying the freedom and control we feel. We have two more weeks left before graduation. If you are interested in taking the class or learning more about it visit this link: http://www.daveramsey.com/fpu/locate-class/

back to school, back to school

Ryan decided to go back to school, he's taking online classes from UVU. He started last month and has about 4 more semesters till he graduates! He's majoring in Aviation Administration and hopes to work with the FAA or do air traffic control. He's taking a full load along with working full time, but is doing great! I'm so proud of him for finishing and for doing what he loves.
