Must See!

I found the cutest website, it's artist Bill Zeman. His daughter (tiny art director) tells him something to draw, which he does, then she critiques it. It's hilarious to read and so cute! Not to mention the drawing are pretty good too. Check it out! Here's a taste:

The Brief: A dinosaur in a X-Ray

The Critique: I just want to see a little mousey in his tummy

Job Status: Approved (after addition of mousey)

Additional Comments: That's what kind of bones dogs like to chew on. Dinosaur leg bones.

Spread the word about his first song on his 8th album. Check it out!
The accompanying piano and cello sheet music for this song will be available at the end of May. The entire album will be released this summer and available on iTunes shortly thereafter.

The Miracle of the Holy Bible

Potent, Lexxie, & Rhapsody

The birthday gift to myself came today from the good 'ole UPS man. I treated myself to 3 new pairs of Steve Madden shoes. They normally cost $90 each, but I got them for under $20 each. Not bad eh? Enjoy!

Happy birthday to me! I took a half day at work on Thursday so Ryan and I could go to the Bean museum in Provo. My mom used to take us there all the time when we were little and I haven't been for years, so I wanted to go. Ryan has been sick for two weeks. He felt especially nasty this particular day (my birthday) and went to the doctor only to find out he has the flu. I didn't let it ruin my plans! I called up my best friend who just moved to Provo and my sis and went with them. We had a lot of fun! The museum is smaller than I remember but just as neat. Does anyone else get the creeps when standing next to a stuffed bear or tiger? For some reason they still scare me... If you haven't been to the Monte L Bean Science Museum at BYU, go! It's very cool. Enjoy some pictures of the creepy animals.

This is a Muskox. Super hairy. Found in antarctica.
This little guy was just so cute with his bulgy eyes. Kind of a rat and rabbit mix.

One of those creepy pictures...

These bears were huge! Can you imagine coming face to face with one?

Cute 'lil linx with his hairy ears...

Leopard and Jaguar. The Jaguar was super muscly.

A lovely display.

The ginormous elephant with a Rhino.

Syd wants to be a butterly. That butterly was made of small butterflies!

Take a look at how big that Ostrich is! I don't know if you can see his feet, but they're massive. The giraffe's neck is about 10 feet!

Lots of neat horns.

Can't you tell how excited I was to be there?
On my birthday I also got a free Cold Stone and cookie at Quiznos. We went out to eat Friday with some friends and Saturday just the two of us. We got hooked up and our meal only ended up costing us $2.37! It was great. On Sunday we celebrated with my family. I got lots of great things and ate an amazing birthday cake! (thanks mom!) Thanks to everyone for the 'happy birthdays,' phone calls and texts! I'm just glad the weather is finally making it up to me for snowing on my special day!

Family Pictures

While my brother and his family were in town we took the opportunity to get family pictures done. It's been at least 6 years since we've had any (wedding family pictures don't count) taken. Enjoy!
