We just love Josh Groban. It was hear at first sight for me, but it took going to the concert for Ryan to really fall in love. Did you guys watch the Emmy's? Well, Josh did a great medley of 60 years of TV shows. Enjoy!

Pirates 4?

I just found out that Johnny Depp has signed to do the fourth Pirates of the Caribbean movie. Really? After the last one...well, I didn't really like it. He's also doing the Mad Hatter in Disney's Alice in Wonderland, teaming up again with..guess who? Yep, Tim Burton. That will be awesome! I can already see the exaggerated costumes, hair and makeup. What do you guys think?

First Presidency Issues Letter on Political Participation

We all know that this election is going to be close. Our church First Presiency is encourgaring us to register to vote and do our research to choose a candidate that will act with integrity. They sent out a letter that will be read from the pulpit. To read it, click here.

Le Book Club

This month we read The Diving Bell and the Butterfly. It's a short read, but I really enjoyed it. It's about a french magazine editor who, more than 10 years ago, had a stroke that left him paralyzed. He has "locked-in syndrome" which means he's stuck in a body, only able to communicate by blinking his left eye, in doing so he wrote this book. He tells what it's like in everyday life, and his story carries you away with his spirit and imagination. They made it into a movie, which is coming for me at the library.

So, If you couldn't tell, I updated my blog background. Despite what I want, Spring is gone and fall is fast approaching, so I thought it wise to change to a fall theme. I miss my old blog though. I had finally gotten it exactly the way I wanted it and now it's gone and I can only have half as many sidebars. Oh well. Please lift my spirits by telling me how much you love it!

16. If you could go back and do it again, would you? You couldn’t pay me enough. I wanted out so bad. I even considered graduating early. I hated the dumb games people played. I loved dancing though.

17. What do you remember most about graduation? Riding up with friends, waiting in those long tunnels forever and the tribute to Danny White.

18. Where did you go senior skip day? Probably to a friend’s house. I think we watched Saved by the Bell.

19. Were you in a club? Dance Company presidency.
20. Have you gained some weight since then? Yes, but only because muscle weighs more than fat. He he. Really though, no.

22. Are you planning on going to your 10 year reunion? I doubt it. Why would I go?

23. Looking back, what advice would you give yourself? Be more outgoing. Take AP or concurrent enrollment classes.

Peach Days!

Ryan has been telling me about Peach Days for years. We have wanted to go together for 2 years now, and we finally went this weekend. Two years ago it was over our wedding, last year we couldn't make it up because of work, so this year we were determined to go. We went Saturday night and looked at all the booths, then rode rides until we were sick. 2 of Ryan's brothers came up for it as well. We had lots of fun!

Happy Second

Although our anniversary is today, we celebrated early and went camping last weekend. Since we were up in Brigham City for the weekend, we went to Brigham City Camp Ground. We haven't been camping since Girl's Camp last summer, and never together before that. Ryan had mean campfire skills. We enjoyed tin foil dinner, s'mores, sleeping in, and lots of games. Our only wish was that we could've stayed all week. Marrying you was the best decision I ever made. I love you more than ever...

Porter Eldon Zaugg

was born on September 4th, 2008 at 3:43 PM. He weighed 7 lbs 6 oz and was 19 inches long. He has long fingers and big feet. He is the first grandson on the Leithead side. Grandchild #3. Toni had him natural and is doing great. Porter is fine as well. Ryan and I went down to visit them on Friday night. He is a cutie! He looks a lot like his dad, with his nose, lips, and the dimple in his chin. I can't wait to see him again! Click here for more..

Labor Day

I really wanted to get out and do something for the Holiday, especially since I didn't have to work at all! Yay! Because of the stinky weather we decided to go bowling. We called up some friends and headed out. It was a lot of fun. I was ahead the first game, then came in 2nd place by 10 points to Ryan. The 2nd game was awful because my wrist started hurting really bad, I lost. Anyone want a re-match?
