More unreasonable expectations

My sister-in-law hosted a Bunko night at her house 2 weeks ago. We had a great time and had lots of laughs even though I did not win any prizes :( I've got to brush up on my dice rolling skills for next month, or figure out how to rig the system like Nish did ;)

I have another complaint, this time with Comcast. Our Comast cable is free with our HOA. In May a Comcast rep came by to offer an upgrade for only $4.99 per month. I accepted, so he dropped off a remote and box a few days later. We decided we really didn't need/want the upgrade, so Ryan returned the hardware a few days later. (We never installed it) I noticed that our bill was a little higher than normal so I asked Ryan if he returned the stuff. He said he did, then he said he would call Comcast. He told me that they would credit our account. Months passed and we were still being charged. I called them a few days ago and they have no history of us returning the box. She asked me if we had the return receipt, which I assured her we didn't, but before she would do anything for me she wanted us to check. I asked Ryan if he had it and he said no and called back the next day. He told me that they don't know what they can do since they don't have the box. We never used the dang thing! The lady said she would have someone call us after they do some more research. (They never called back) I have an idea, how about they send someone over to our house so we can show them we don't have the box. Then, they should credit our account for the 5 months we've been "using" it. Bad customer service is frustrating!

We've had many a frustrating time with Verizon ourselves. They charged us twice last month plus a little extra. And there automated phone system sucks almost as badly as their customer service. "Service" my foot! They don't care about any of their customers.

We also have had many issues with comcast!! We are so sorry, we'll join forces and hate them together.

I had a similar problem but with a different company and mine was for a total of $110! After 4 months of it and being hung up on by a manager!!!, I filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau:) I was refunded my money amazingly quick once I did that too!
