Don't you hate when the ends of your hair feel like straw!? Well, my hair always feels like that, even after a trim. The lady who cut my hair told me that I need to use a better shampoo and conditioner because my hair is so dry and falls out, so I bought a really expensive one at the salon. I've been using it for months, but it's still like that! I wear my hair curly more than straight because I hate how it feels when it's straight. I only use the blow dryer/straightener about 3 times a week, if that. Does anyone have any suggestions? Any products or shampoo/conditioner you use that makes your hair soft and smooth?

Moroccan Oil! That stuff is amazing! Here's a link to it: http://goodlookingdiscounts.com/StoreModules/ProductDetails.aspx?PID=MO_O3.4oz&CID=0&SCID=0
Also, eliminate all products that have alcohol in them. That dries hair out way bad.
Try researching what you can add or eliminate in your diet. My hair dresser always says to eat lots of fruits and vegtables. Also I've heard EVOO can really help.
Try not washing your hair for a week or two... I bet that will help : )
Tia! I am so sorry about that! I have had that happen too! When I went to the salon, they said one reason my hair could be dried out is because I am dehydrated. So, try drinking more water and see if that helps. Also, putting mashed up avocados in your hair is a good rehydration approach. However, if you don't want to do that, I would suggest Biolauge. It is great! Pricey but great! You can get it at any salon. Good luck!
Have you ever tried Biosilk? It's like a little bottle of oil you put on the ends of your hair after the shower. You have to be careful not to use too much or you'll have greasy hair. But it makes your hair silky and shiny. I love it, and a small bottle will last forever since you only use a few drops at a time. Good luck!
You know what worked for me? Humidity. You might just be suffering from Utah. Also, you can get good shampoo and conditioner from Big Lots. That's where I get mine, and I try to get the hydrating formulas.
