December

Hannah's favorite thing is to pull all the Ziploc bags out of the box. one.by.one. Coincidentally, it's the only cabinet with no child locks. I can usually catch her in time, but sometimes I just let her do it so I can fix dinner. Got tooth #4. Started walking! Loves string cheese. Goes down for naps and bedtime without a sound! We read 2 books, sing 2 songs, then lay her down and she goes right to sleep. We're so happy! Shakes her head "no" when she knows she's not supposed to be doing something. Turned 13 months on Christmas. Would not sit on Santa's lap even though it was Grandpa. I got sick before Christmas and it lasted a good two weeks. I was negative for Strep and couldn't stop coughing. Something nasty was going around.

^^decorated gingerbread men at the library^

^^put together her 1st year-book. love how it turned out^^

^I won a nook at Ryan's work party and he got to drive a sweet car (perks of the job)^^

^It was very refreshing to visit the temple lights and not be freezing! We love it here^

^^Ryan was putting Hannah to bed and broke our chair. He texted me "Chair just broke! I'm stuck in the reclined position!"

Went to UT for Christmas. Went to Alyssa's bridal shower^^

^^she loved these zip ties^^

^^Christmas morning with the Everett's^^

^^my brother and his family were visiting from Seattle. It was so nice to spend a few days with them.^^

^^Alyssa and Garrett got married on the 28th in the Brigham City Temple. It was freezing, but she looked gorgeous! They had a luncheon at The Lodge afterwards. Amazing food!^^

^^Hannah surprised us all and slept for a good 30 minutes on the flight home^^

Halloween 2013

Hannah's 1st Halloween
I found this unicorn costume during the summer at Party City on clearance for $5, I couldn't pass it up. It's one size too big and she couldn't really crawl while wearing it, but she's still adorable.

We had our ward trunk or treat on Oct 25th. We dressed as baseball fans. Easiest costume ever. I made some pumpkin black bean chilli. There were so many kids and we didn't have enough candy. We ditched out early to put Hannah to bed.

The next night we drove to Scottsdale for the balloon spooktacular. It wasn't that great. It took forever to park, and it was mostly just vendors. The lines for Halloween candy were ridiculous, but it was nice to get out and see some cool balloons. We ran into one of Ryan's employees and got to see their new little baby Blake.

Halloween night was fun. This is the first year we've been home for Halloween. We got a good amount of trick or treaters and even had candy leftover! We just hung out at home with Hannah. Next year when she can walk we'll take her out trick or treating.

What's Happening Wednesday

01. Went to two different Babies R Us last week for gifts and with my sister.
02. Told my friend about a job opening at Make-A-Wish and she got it! So happy for her.
03. I've officially started my 1/2 marathon training. Definitely been a good week for running, I'm getting that high and feeling great.
04. Went to a cousin's baby shower with my sister in her beautiful new home. She's due in a few weeks. It was great to see some of my cousins there.
05. Spent the evening holding my new nephew. Heaven.
06. Ryan's been very sick. He went to the doctor yesterday and got antibiotics. Hopefully it will help him feel better.
07. We both had to work Monday on the Holiday.
08. I had to return a book to the library before i was done reading, now I need to put it back on hold to finish.
09. Watched "sandlot" tonight for an activity with the youth. It's been a long time since I've watched it. It's still funny.
10. Have a lot of laundry to catch up on.

 2012
I can't believe the new year is already here, and I'm sure this year will fly by as well.

On New Year's Day we visited my sister who is due with boy #3 anytime. My dad got a hold of my phone while we were playing games and took these pictures.

HAPPY NEW YEAR!
