Sorry about the lapse in writing, our computer was having problems so we had to ship it back to HP. More than a month later...it's back!! Apparently the usb ports weren't the only thing wrong with it. They identified an issue with our hard drive and replaced it. There was a issue with our casing (palm rest, screw covers, feet, etc.) and they replaced it. Last but not least, there was an issue with our system board and....you guessed it, they replaced it and now our computer is in working order. It's kind of annoying though, because although we did backup our data nothing is the same. We miss our old computer.
