Asian Star

Over the weekend we went to another restaurant we've never been to, Asian Star. Ryan loves lettuce wraps and we've had them at a few other places so we ordered their award winning lettuce wraps. I did not like them as much as other's we've had, but Ryan liked them more.

Ryan got Sesame Chicken and I got Cashew Stir Fry w/veggies-vegan. It was so yummy and there was plenty of left overs for the weekend. We even ran into our neighbors there celebrating their anniversary.

Last night we went on our Valentine's date to Tucano's with family and friends then did a little shopping.

Thanks to my friend's recommendation we ate at Central do Brasil a few weeks ago. Ryan's brother served his mission in Brazil with her husband so we took them along. It was very authentic and we had to have Aaron order for us. The best part of the night was when they broke out the karoake. Have you ever seen Brazilians sing Karoeke? It was awesome, and I was this close to getting up and singing myself.

Saturday night's are all you can eat pizza, so we plan to go back again. In the back of the restaurant there is a store so I bought some Pao de Queijo. The cooking instructions were in Portuguese so I had to use Babel Fish to translate. Some of the words didn't translate correctly so I had to guess on some things, but I think they turned out great!

After dinner we went to the crazy corn maze in West Jordan. Jess and I huddled together through the scary part while we entertained the guys with our running and screaming. We rocked the corn maze by going from #3 to #7 and skipping a few other numbers, not on purpose, but Ryan has a great sense of direction.
