Why Us?

It is a little strange, given our track record, that nothing bad (crime wise) has happened to us for more than a year. Well, our streak of good luck ran out today. Our car was broken into, broken window and all. We learned last year after our car was stolen, for the 2nd time, that you can never be too safe. We have a club for our steering wheel and ALWAYS use it. Good thing because our car would've probably been stolen. We have also learned to NEVER leave anything that anyone might think is valuable in the car. Luckily, nothing 'important' was stolen, but it's just frustrating, you know? That's the reason we moved here in the first place! We just can't seem to get away from the crime! We talk about how, "Well, if we only had a garage, or cameras, or whatever.." but I think crime will find a way to us no matter what. I'm convinced! Any tips or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Oh, and if you'd like to donate about $500 to our new car window fund, that would be nice too.

I am so sorry! What do you drive? Maybe you should get a crappier car??? That's all I've got.

I am so sorry to hear about your car. We had someone break into our first apartment and after that I never felt safe there. I'm sure it's a scary feeling having your car broken into.

Tea! That is the worst luck. Maybe the crime is not drawn to you, but to you cars?! Maybe you could try to escape the crime by selling your car and using public transportation? JK. :) My heart goes out to you guys. I know that has got to be extremely frustrating.
