So I was trying to cook bacon in the microwave the other day...
Yea, I guess when the instructions say place a few pieces, it means not half the package!
I said, "I know it smells like somethings burning, but it's just the bacon cooking." I walked in to see smoke coming from the microwave. This was what happened to the bacon.. Eventually my dish broke too because it got so hot! Note to self, next time just cook it on the stove.

Aww... your bowl broke. I sometimes gets scared to do things from the way I "normally" do them because with my luck something always happens. ...
Hey for your bacon in the microwave they have special cooking plates you can cook on them and they turn out great! We bought one for my dad and he loves it because then the bacon does not spit the grease at him. I think we got it at walmart but I am not sure but hey if it is worth it to cook in the microwave maybe go and check it out! Good luck
