Fam-il-y is Comin' to Town Pt 2

With all the family in town I wanted to do a service project. We went to the Utah Food Bank and delivered food boxes to 9 families. It's so nice to be able to serve others and it makes me realize how blessed I am. We were all greatful for the opportunity.

Fam-il-y is Comin' to Town Pt 1

Ok, so they already came and went, but I wanted to post this soon to make it feel like they're still here. My brother and sister who both live out of state came into town last week. We had a fun week with lots of activites planned and it was so nice to spend time with them and their families.

Kittems

I love my hairy one, as he's so affectionately called. He loves to snuggle and keep me warm, he also loves laying on Ryan's clothes when they're on the floor. When there are no clothes on the floor he has to find other places to nap...he found my box of workout clothes and I had to take a picture. Isn't his hairiness the cutest? I promise I don't favor, unlike the hubs.

Brigham City Temple

Ryan's dad is a Bishop in Perry. Someone in his ward saw the first presidency standing across the street from the Brigham City Tabernacle shortly after General Conference. He walked up to them and they said that this is the site for the Brigham City Temple. I know the pictures are terrible but this was taken from the Brigham City Tabernacle. The temple will be built just west of the Tabernacle.

Gold Coin

While my parents were in St. George, my sister and I painted their dining room, with their permission of course! My mom wanted one wall painted, so as a Christmas gift we kept the color a surprise. We removed the 25 year old wallpaper and primed and painted both walls and the ceiling. After much deliberation we decided on gold. The color matches the yellow found in the painting below and we love it! I don't think my mom liked the color at first and she still says it's 'growing on her.' What do you think?

After

It looks even better now because we bought a huge mirror to hang on the wall, but I don't have a picture, sorry!
