Sista comes to town
My sister just recently moved from TX to VA. It's been 6 months since I've seen her and her family so her visit was so great! I went up to Logan with her one day to visit a friend, but mostly we just hung out at my parents house. We went on a nice Sunday stroll and I went a little picture happy, but here are just a few...

RIP squeak
On June 1st, the cat we've had for about 12 years died. My parents got her a few months after BC from my cousin. All these years they never got along. She was a sweet cat and just recently had not been eating or drinking. When my parents noticed blood coming from her mouth they took her to the vet. She had lots of ulcers in her mouth. The diagnosis was not good so my parents decided to put her down. After many tears, she was buried in my parents back yard. The house is a little lonier and we all miss her.

Is it too late to go ring shopping?
One late night in May Ryan was taking a shower, which is not unusual by the way. He took off his ring, but it dropped on our tile and cracked! It's tungsten, which is not supposed to be able to break, which is why we got it. Ryan said he's dropped it before and it's never broke, but the Jeweler said sometimes it happens when two hard things hit at the right angle. Ryan loved his ring but it's been discontinued. Eventually we'll get him another one but for now he just wears his CTR ring as his wedding ring.
(sorry for the bad quality pictures)
I'm not gonna lie, I'm a little giddy about getting to go ring shopping again. How romantic!

My Syd
Syd and I met at college. When I first met her I thought she was a returned missionary, but come to find out our birthday's are only 1 week apart. We lived just down the hall from each other and instantly became inseparable. Ask anyone, you did not see one of us without the other. We were loud and crazy together and she was with me through my whole courtship with Ryan. She's been going to school at UVU so I don't get to see her as often as I'd like, but we were finally able to get together on Memorial Day. We spent the whole day together. We went to lunch at Paradise and ended up ordering double. (oops!) Then we did a little shopping and went to her parents house for a BBQ.

She is transferring to the U this fall so I hope to see more of her!

Winco
While our husband's were busy at BP Jessica took me to Winco for the first time. I'm really impressed with their prices on produce and their bulk section is great! They have cat food for half the price of other grocery stores. Another cool thing is their peanut butter and honey. You can make your own natural peanut butter by grinding peanuts. Their honey bins has a warning sign about not opening the lid because there are live bees. Jessica got the honey, hope it was good!
I haven't been back since, but plan to soon.
